It’s my first time to do a non-kontrabida role on GMA7 and I’m so excited about it. I think every taping may crying scene ako. Kalurkey. Anyway my new show is called Forever and it stars Heart Evanglista, Geoff Eigenmann and Ms. Gloria Romero!
It started just this Monday (January 21)! If you missed the start, don’t worry – here’s a recap:
It’s the 1950′s and Adora (Heart Evangelista), who comes from a rich family, falls in love with magsasaka Ramon (Geoff Eigenmann). Her father doesn’t like it one bit and forces her to marry Federico (Marc Abaya). She defies her father, runs away with Ramon and gets married. She’s already pregnant when her father and Federico find her. Federico kills Ramon. As Ramon is dying, he promises to love her forever even after death. The town’s crazy lady gives Adora a magic watch clock. Adora doesn’t give it much meaning. She has a miscarriage.
Fast forward to the present time. Adora (Gloria Romero) is now old and alone, always remembering Ramon. She is now being cared for by her loyal caretaker’s niece, Susie (Candy Pangilinan). Adora runs her late father’s coconut factory. Out of nowhere, a far relative of Adora’s named Monique (Isabel Oli) manipulates her into handing over the business and banishes her from her own mansion. Susie and Adora end up staying with Susie’s good friend Leila (played by yours truly!). Adora and Leila become very close that Adora treats her like a granddaughter.
Adora finds the old magic watch clock and she becomes young each time she turns it but like Cinderella, the spell always breaks at midnight. Susie is the only one who knows her secret. Young Adora tries to take back her company from Monique. She meets an artist named Patrick (Geoff Eigenmann). He looks EXACTLY like her one true love Ramon (maybe because he’s also played by the same guy *badumm-tss!*). Patrick, somehow, has many paintings of the young Adora even though they’ve never met. Adora falls in love not knowing that Patrick is the boyfriend of her good friend Leila.
I’m so excited to see how the story unfolds!!! Let’s all watch together later, it starts before 24 Oras on GMA7. I think my character is introduced today!:)

Interesting and creative plot (watched the other day and the visuals are also beautiful) but I hope it doesn’t turn you into a kontrabida later on. Haha. (kidding) ;) Good luck!

I’m not a fan of kapuso dramas but because I really adore you, you’re one of my inspiration when it comes to blogging. I’d definitely watch this and it’s a good story line as well. :)

Wow! Nagulat ako sa plot! The last time na nanood ako ng show sa GMA was Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa time, because of you and Jennylyn Mercado.
The story kinda reminds me of one of my fave local movies Moments of Love. Sayang di ko nasimulan, will start watching it tom! Good luck! :)
