Ang pa-cool ng post title ko, di ko ma-take. Nope, I didn’t go to California – I went to Caliraya!
If you’ve been a long-time blog reader of mine, I’m sure you remember my old college friends (Kristia, Abe, Tisha, Mikko, etc.) and I’m happy to let you know that things are finally okay with us. It’s a long story but to make it short, I completely ditched them (to me it was the other way around but they insist ako daw ang nang-waley haha) when I broke up with my college boyfriend who was part of our barkada. Need to get away ang drama. But sobrang tagal na yun, drama-free ang buhay ko ngayon. Yay!
So we took a trip to our friend’s rest house in Caliraya.

It was farther than I expected. Around 3 hours because of traffic in Laguna. Grabe lang yung mga tao dun, parang living room nila yung national highway kung makapasyal. But it was worth the trouble. Look at our beautiful view from the balcony!

Steph and Paolo
Abe and Esca
Pao, Tia, Mikko and me
This is a machine that makes ice at the press of a button. Mindblown.
We played intense games of Taboo and charades
And had fun girl talk hehe (I’m in love with my camo jacket)
Left at 1PM the next day to go to Enchanted Kingdom with my family and I saved my low batt camera to take this one last photo of the lake
I shall end this blog post with this quote: be the change you want to see in the world. Sobrang walang connection. Ito pala: make new friends but keep the old; one is silver, the other gold! Teehee.

Ang ganda ng place huhuh. San po yung Caliraya ate? :))
Hi Saab! :)
I love the last quote – relate much! I missed my best friends/buddies since elementary, since I had a boyfriend and found new friends in college. I hardly find time to be with my bestfriends :( enweiz, God bless and more blogs to inspire us!
I love the quote. There’s another one I also like. It says, “The best mirror is an old friend.”
Suddenly I miss my friends from high school. I’ve lost communication with most of them – especially those whom I have had a fall-out with. But reading this makes me want to organize a reunion and catch up on lost time. Where do I even begin? *sigh*
Also this reminds me of the post I wrote sometime in January – about my guy friends from way back high school (http://justbeingthoughtful.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/question-268/).
First time to leave a comment here. Been a silent reader for a month now.
I went there in Caliraya last summer… The place is superb! :)
Hi Saab,
Thank you sa blog mo ^^ it’s been three years na kasi akong hindi nakakauwi samen kasi im working in Abu Dhabi.. Glad to know that you like our place :) and one more thing you are really pretty. God bless you..
Ate Saab, are you wearing lipstick or not? Looks like but maybe it’s just your lips hmmm
Is that the Mikko na ex mo?
NATAKAM AKO SA PASTA! Grabe the house! Ang ganda! :) Nice nice! Take care Saab! :)
this made me think of reconnecting with my kababatas, elementary bestfriends and college classmates! Thanks!
The first quote made me laugh! Hell, all your blog posts make me laugh! Hehe :)
ms. Saab, as far as I remember Kristia, Abe, Tisha, Mikko, etc. are the people whom you talk about from their childhood to what they are as of now. #asking I’m a reader of your blog and I loved it. ♥ Keep posting! All I can say to this post is amazing. What a nice friendship you have. :)
Hi Saab! I don’t know if you still remember me but I’ve been reading your blog since 2006-2007 I think. Strangely enough, I only recognize Greg LOL. It’s so nice to be reunited with old friends. :)
You know Anna Rubio? I just noticed you have the same friends in this entry:) She’s a friend of mine back in Grade school, St. Paul Pasig :)
Nice photos, btw :)
Yes, she was a good friend back in college. I barely see her now but we try to keep in touch :)
Thanks!
I see :) Hope there”ll be a chance to meet you as well because of Anna, hehe. FC lang? haha.
Thanks for the reply. Really love your blog :)
