Study Buddy

As you are a month into a new school year, here is something you might find useful.

I personally work better with music playing in the background but I can’t concentrate unless it’s purely instrumental.

Here is a mixtape I made of my favorite writing music, more than half by local artists. This is an alternative to classical music you can listen to while reading, writing or studying for your upcoming tests.

Click here for the track list and a link to the FREE download! :) Happy reading/writing!

About Saab

I like plastic balloons, polly pockets, cheap cake and spooky couches.

Thanks for this! :) I actually usually listen to the One Tree Hill OST when studying since some of the music there are mellow, and I’m usually able to still concentrate even if the song is not purely instrumental, as long as the song is not that familiar to me. So, since most of the bands featured in the OST are not necessarily the ones I listen to, it helps a lot. I’m downloading your playlist right now. Thank you again! :) God bless!

Yayy! Downloaded it! Thanks Ate Saab! I agree with you, I can concentrate more if it’s purely instrumental kasi kung may kumakanta, chances are mapapakanta ka rin at mawawala sa concentration mo. :))

  12. Sandra Joyce says:

I used to think I was the only one too fidgety to study, having lots of things “on the side” just to keep focus. A movie, a conversation with a friend via text, a song. Anything just to keep my brain from being fully immersed in what I was supposed to be “understanding”. Thank you for this playlist! Cheers to all the fidgety kids who focus best when there’s a distraction.

    Thank you! :)

I know I’ve already posted a comment here but I just have to post again! I finally listened to your play list while working (because initially I listened to it just for leisure) and I really have to say WOW! Seryoso, I was finally able to concentrate enough to finish in one fifteen-minute session a document I’ve been trying to finish for a month! Galing galing! Thank you so much for this talaga! God bless!
