I’ve been following you and your blogs since you were in high school. I can’t even remember when and how it started. I’ve read maybe more than a hundred or a thousand entries from you; from Blogspot to Twitter to Instagram. I’ve read through your high school musings, your relationships with boys and men you have loved, and your growth into the girl in her twenties now.
I’ve never felt the need to contact you though, to let you know that I read your blog, but tonight I do because as I scrolled through your latest entries, I think you’re lost somewhere in these heartless promotions. I don’t know how those promotions go among bloggers but practically, you promote the same things. But as I went through your entries, I found myself asking: “Where is Saab in all of this?” I was looking for the Saab I read about, who went to prom, went to college, went through difficult stuff and fun stuff and had a family and had friends. I feel like us, readers, are losing you from all these promotions and advertisements that are disguised as blog entries.
I’m not bashing you, okay? I’m not saying you have turned into a worse blogger, writer, or person. I just hope that we find you again because even if I am a handful of years older than you. I find inspiration in you because it takes a lot of guts to stand up for what you believe in and for who you are on the internet; for making yourself vulnerable in the blogging sphere, where anyone can just take apart what you say and rebuild it and capitalize on it.
I hope you’re still there somewhere. I hope it’s not too late. You are a beautiful person and you are blessed with a beautiful life. I hope we can see that again soon. :)

Thanks for the insightful comment. I’ve realized that for some time also. I haven’t been blogging the way I used to. You see, I’ve been very blessed with all these projects and the sponsored posts are, as my friend pointed out to me, sort of a measure of success. Of course, since I’ve been running my blog by myself for nine years now, it was very difficult for me to finally give in and hire someone to help me.
I’m happy to share with you that my good friend Candy has agreed to help keep me on top of my game. So instead of worrying about deadlines and contracts and guidelines and collating entries and choosing winners, I’m free to just keep writing :)
I’ve been wanting to get back on track, I’ve just been a little busy also putting together that passion project I talked about months ago. You’ll be pleasantly surprised once it’s up because then you’ll realize you never really lost me :)
